Speech Two Comments

Michael Chiang: Good visual aid, the pictures were very impactful - good job with the blank slides. Your introduction was very clear and easy to tell from what you are going to talk about. I really liked the information that you provided throughout your speech! On the podium however, you seemed a little uptight. The tone of your speech was very clear and easy to understand. Good job!

Michael McKenna: Your intro provided a good overview of what the nation was like at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. Also, your conclusion brought the speech to a solid close and summed up the main points very well.

Liza McKenna: You did a good job of explaining who some of your sources were which helped to make your citations really strong. Your presentation seemed well rehearsed and you had a good speed and volume but were reading a little bit.

Joe Belack - Your opening picrures were all nice to get everyone's attention. Your vocab and closer seemed to both be well thought out. The only ciriticism I have is that your eye contact struggled a bit. Well done.

Christina- Good tone and pitch. I could tell you were trying to work on your eye contact but you were still a little too dependent on your note cards. Good facts and research though.

Liz Peters: Your fluency and eye contact were much better with this speech, even though you did use the note cards at times. Good use of your visual aids. I loved your conclusion. You left us with a visual by comparing Pearl harbor and 911. I thought you gave a great speech!

Scot Brown: Still work on eye contact, but good use of sources.
